Please name one person or point to one post that has advocated for abolishing any right guaranteed by the constitution including the 2d amendment.  Justice Scalia, whom l assume you admired, pointed out that the 2d amendment like all are subject to reasonable restrictions!  Do you think the 2d amendment should be so open ended that you should have the right to own a hand held anti tank weapon?!

And guess what...the 2d amendment guarantees your right to bear arms...it does not guarantee the right to have unlimited access to ammo, or to not have a requirement for a license attached to ammo purchase, or that ammo will not be subject to taxation.  None of these actions would change your right to own a dame gun but Katy bar the door if anybody suggests any of them be implemented!
