l'm pondering...why have the last 50 years been so different in GA, NC and VA than in AL and MS. I think from the economic standpoint anybody has to agree their histories have been very different. There are, l am sure many reasons, but could the attitude of the leaders maybe have played some part? In the 60's and 70's CEO's read the papers.
This string started by Bamaalum's pondering just why business was bad in Montgomery...well, CEO's still read the papers and Chief Justice Roy Moore is certainly making the headlines lately. Of course his antics have no direct relation to the economy in Montgomery at any particular moment, but the cumulative effect of years of knuckle-heads like him might.
Leadership has gone downhill in GA over the last several years, but thankfully we still have no Judge Moore's in top positions.
