Clear shield will only help with water droplets being spewed from the mouth.  Limited help for the aerosols which are the most likely cause of transmission.  Again, wear what you want but stay away from others and wash your hands, use hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes when you can't wash your hands and take your temperature every day and if you're not feeling well stay home and away from others.  Those things actually work.
