The sun still shines and private sector employees continue to generate economic value for the country, day in and day out…”

I urge you read the whole article.
Well... the poor little darlings WILL get paid. But, meanwhile they are not using electricity and paper and fuel... and generating other peripheral costs to the taxpayer. Just like the Greeks, we find out who is paid by government just to be present.
Hmmmm... I am not sure that park rangers are non-essential. Some folks just don’t know how to behave. We should have locked the gates to our national treasures.
