I am fairly sure the "test" Biden was contemplating was from a foreign government taking some kind of action to see how he would react (i.e., North Korea threatening South Korea, China threatening Taiwan, Iran attacking Israel or invading Iraq, etc.) ala the Cuban Missle Crisis with JFK. I actually believe that the worse our economic circumstances become the more likely one of more of these countries will do just that.

This is in my view what is called an historic, once in a generation opportunity. Significant domestic challenges, internal dissent about the war in Iraq, the election to President of a wildly inexperienced, classic liberal in the Jimmy Carter model and Congress controlled by the loony left (possibly soon to be joined by the pornographic comedian) all might be too much of a temptation to those countries that have been itching to give us bloody nose. If you wanted to act and get away with it why not early in the term of the neophyte President? I know I would. And what if all three happened simultaneously? That would be more than this administration could hope to handle.

I hope and pray that I am too pessimistic but unlike the idealists that believed the world would come together in a love fest simply because the Messiah was elected I realize that the world is a dangerous place and we should have never taken this risk of electing him in the first place.
