I don't think I fall into that category. I have 3 magazines that are 7 shot and no assault type weapons. All my shooting over the years has been at targets. Do you see anything that would require me to register? To answer your question, if I fell in the registration category, yes I would as the penalty if you are caught is quite hefty.
I certainly support a background check on everyone trying to buy a firearm. And, a check on family members who inherit a firearm. Anyone who has an issue with universal background check should live next door to someone who beats his wife and inherited a firearm.
This makes no sense....do you agree? "If you inherit or are gifted a firearm, you don't need a background check. Private sellers aren't required to ask for identification, they don't have to complete any forms, nor keep any records of the transaction. What's more, federal law does not mandate a background check to purchase a firearm from a private seller."
