Simon Hersch… is himself,
ferocious! A person in public office must feel the Sword of Damocles should
this man appear in his life. That said, Hersch is correct, journalism used to
be liberal (in the classical definition) and journalists were truly critical. That’s
how the press earned the title.

The press, outside of the three
branches of government, has the power to incite the people… who in previous
times, were served by their government… not, as is the case today.
It now seems that journalists
and editors have meaningless credentials and are so impressionable that they
think and publish what they are told to think and publish.
