During the election, there were continual requests for Obama’s qualifications. We were informed that he was an experienced community activist… long pause… and he went to Harvard (no transcripts or thesis presented [allowed] for review.) To greater than (statistically) 50% of the country, this, coupled with his charisma, was sufficient. His unvetted experience and promises for non-specific change were enough to get him elected.
We, plus many of those who voted for him, are stunned. He doesn’t know what to do, much less how to behave and speak appropriately, as the President of the United States. He continues to act imperious and vote “present”. Even his own people cannot get meaningful or effective decisions from him.
He would not, could not, survive in the business or military profession. One cannot be stylin’ in the face of adversity. We are anguished to discern him failing us in these days of the Nation’s desperate requirement for leadership.
We hope the sun will come out. But the clouds are getting darker on the horizon and the water is rising. Soon we won’t need a leader… we’ll need an ark.
