I can tell you where they want this to end and that is for the U.S. to be like Europe.  Democratic socialism, below replacement birth rates, rejection of faith in God, secular humanism, confiscatory taxes (income and VAT), most coveted jobs in government (like winning the lottery), unlimited immigration, Muslim violence, paltry GDP growth, 10% unemployment being the norm, etc.  That is their goal because it guarantees that "conservative" politicians are like Democrats today and "liberal" politicians will be like Bernie and AOC.  That many Europeans are waking up to the perils of this will not sway them from this path.  It is all about power and wealth.....you know, for those pigs that more equal than others......
