You obviously got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Yeah, I will continue to occasionally post responses to stupid or dangerous attitudes and you can continue to flag them.
I have not done enough to respond to the problem but I make modest efforts...I drive slower and less, I use public transit when possible, I have replaced all the toilets in my home with low flow, I use pig-tail light bulbs (without blaming the "liberal" politicians for it) and use a single lamp when possible, l ALWAYS turn out the lights when I leave a room, I have recaulked all my windows and doors, I have taken all the grass from my yard and replaced with drought tolerant ground cover, I wear sweaters in the winter and keep the thermostat at 65 deg instead of 68, I no longer wear a tie to the office in the summer (tiny gesture but most enjoyable), I recycle much more than prevously, I purchase only high efficient appliances and heating/cooling equipment, I encourage all my clients to be more aware and energy efficient in their projects, including following the LEED recommendations where practical (something actually outlawed by the idiots in the GA legislature for state buildings), and I have not been noticeably inconvenienced by any of it. I am prepared to do more in the future.
PS: It is fine if you do not believe it...now. If you are still around in 30 years and it turns out I was right and you were wrong do you agree to give an apology to the world and promise to do what you can to stop it if it is still possible? It is highly unlikely I will be around in 30 years, but if I am, and turns out it was balony, l will gladly offer my apology.
