Pot calling kettle black worrying about Romney's tax records. Whoever is elected better be prepared to deal with this (from galt stock report):
in
the Middle East today the sides are lining up as the iranians threaten closure
of the Strait of Hormuz over the sanctions. The U.S. is moving more military
assets into the region. By August there will be five U.S. Aircraft Carrier
battle groups in or in close proximity to the Persian Gulf.
Russia
has threatened to breach the embargo on iran and sell them S-300 air defense
systems if Syria falls. Russian official Russian Pukhov warned "if the
Syrian regime is changed by force or if Russia doesn't like the outcome, it
most likely will respond by selling S-300s to iran."
Saudi
Arabia is buying nuclear-capable missiles from China. Russia is sending 11
warships to their Syrian base. NATO's rapid response Maritime Group 2 is on its
way to the Mediterranean. France's Charles DeGaulle-R91 nuclear aircraft
carrier is "steaming" to Port Zayid, Abu Dhabi just opposite the
Strait of Hormuz.
if it weren't so serious, one could think about having an air show
or display military arms for sale like the Paris Air Show, but sales are not
what this gathering is all about. The Middle East is a powder keg that might
blow up in the next few days or month.

The
last P5+1 talks with iran over their nuclear enrichment program were in
istanbul, Turkey last week. They ended with no agreement. iran proposed more
meetings on three month intervals. Critics contend this ploy is just to buy
time as iran is close to having a workable nuclear weapon. iran reportedly
tested a nuclear device in N. Korea last winter. They have developed the
Shahab-3 extended range missile and the Ashura medium range ballistic missile
that can fly 1200 miles. Some experts believe the challenge facing the iranians
is reducing the weight of a nuclear payload so the missiles can deliver it.
israel
fears iran could deliver a dirty "bomb" today. A dirty bomb can be
constructed from a standard bomb that scatters radioactive material over the
landscape on detonation.
The
U.S. media is not covering the Middle East right now, and i don't know why. The
more you look, the more it looks like a "hot" war is about to break
out. i encourage you to search the internet for news so you won't be surprised
when 'something happens.'
