Thanks! I'll be sure to check it out. Local knowledge is worth a bunch to me because the topo map of the supposed bottom of Lake Martin is WOEFULLY inaccurate! I found the humps out where Blue Creek empties in to the main lake by accident while motoring back from the dam one day. I was flying along on the west side of the islands down by Chimney rock and when I turned right after passing one I was over the old channel in DEEP water. The next thing I know the depth shot up to 38'. I turned around to take a look and marked some nice fish around that hump so I started trolling. The first time over the hump I caught about a 4-5 lb striper. The second time I caught one around 8 or so. The third time something hit and never turned or stopped peeling line. I fought it for about for maybe 2-3 minutes and never gained any line, and the line stopped pulling. I motored straight vertical over my line and I was in 58' of water and the fish had wrapped me around a snag, so it and I parted ways. Man, what a rush! The next day I caught a 5 pounder and then hooked into a fish that felt much larger, but when I got it to the boat it was hybrid of maybe 9-10 lbs. The treble hooks on the lure were barely hanging on because of the pressure the fish and I had applied to each other and it was still full of fight. Every time I tried to grab it, it started shaking and I pulled my hand away from the hooks. After about a minute of that it finally broke free. I was PO'ed but it was my own fault for not having a net. I started carrying a BIG one after that!

Those humps AREN'T on the map!
