Thanks for sharing this as it is timely for me as my Mom is going into hospice care this week.  She's 89 years old, her heart is failing and won't get better and she is tired of doctors and hospitals and all the poking and prodding.  She has had quite the dash and having lived with us for almost 20 years she will be missed, especially by my kids who have pretty much grown up with her in the house.  But I can't say that I blame her for making the decision.  Pray that she holds on for my brother to get here to have a final visit.  He gets in from Spokane tomorrow at midnight.
