I take it Archie posted something stupid on this. Don't know cause I have him on ignore. The specific reason this study was withdrawn is that the source of the data that the authors used refused repeated requests to release the raw data to peer reviewers. In academia, that tells you automatically that it would not pass scrutiny. When the authors learned this they were forced to do something that is highly unusual and rare for a publication like Lancet. One of the downsides of relaxing quality control processes at any time but especially during a crisis that has been coopted for partisan political gain. The data was either junk or fabricated altogether. I am going with the latter given the history of the six employees that worked for this fake company. TDS does really bad things to people.....just look at leftists that post on this forum.
