You have told this same story numerous times on this forum - what is your point really?? He stated up front that he was teaching from a Marxist perspective. What is wrong with hearing things from another perspective, even if you don't agree? You could argue your points and since you were only auditing, what difference did it make if you didn't "do well" in the class? I gather that you are trying to infer that young people are being brainwashed but I don't think that is true. I think one of the purposes of college, and school in general, is to expose minds to different perspectives and belief systems and to let them think critically about it. Or would you be happier if they were just taught to recite some pablum that you deemed appropriate? Are you afraid they would actually think for a change? This was unlikely to be the only class they would take in college. We used to call it being well rounded - being exposed to a lot of different ideas and experiences and then making up your own mind based on your own experiences and beliefs.
Now everyone can jump on what I've said. But I'm speaking my beliefs this week.
