My opinion now.
East side of lake and Dadeville--
Only consistent places are Poplar Dawgs, Niffers, and La Posada.
Another has good shrimp, but nothing else that's consistent on menu.

The secret to a good place to eat, that dam sure ain't no secret--
Good consistent items on the menu. Cooked right, seasoned right, and
fresh. (real cold beer, too) (again good and CONSISTENT)

Good service with no real long waits, courteous employees, and somewhat practical prices.

It ain't astrophysics..
