Just for clarity, "natural gas" (in spite of the various descriptions in this thread of intestinal gas) is delivered to the property via pipe, and has an unlimited supply.
On the other hand, propane, also known as liquified petroleum gas (LPG) requires an on-property tank which must be refilled occasionally.
Most of the suppliers listed in this thread peddle propane. is your interest in natural gas? Generally, the farther way from concentrations of customers, the less likely you'll find natural gas service. Good luck in your quest. i'm pretty sure the far eastern end of Coosa County 20 (where we have a cabin) won't see natural gas service any time soon.
Oh, also, appliances intended for propane don't work well at all with natural gas because propane is a much higher pressure. We were given a stove by my wife's parents shortly after we married, and took it to Turkey when the Air Force moved us there. The in Laws had used it with propane, and the burners would barely light on the natural gas service in our Turkish apartment. Had to drill out the jets to make it work right.
