There seem to be a lot of places to eat on the east side of the lake - several in Dadeveille, Oskar's, Niffer's, Christopher, the Oyster place on 34. Unfortunately they are not accessible by boat (well, I'm told you might be able to get to Christopher if the water isn't too high), and if you happen to have a place on the west side (we are in Parker Creek area) it is either a loooonnnnngggg drive or Sinclairs. We don't drive an hour to get to the lake just to pile back into the car to drive another hour to a restaurant.
The question is this: Have any of these restaurants ever thought of providing a service where they would pick customers up at the nearest dock where they could leave their boat, and then take them back after they dine? I can't think of anything better than a nice cruise past the Rock, followed by a nice meal, then in turn followed by a nice moonlit cruise back to the cabin.
Just a thought. The logistics might be daunting, but as it is we are pretty well limited to Sinclairs and the Dockside/Suzy Q replacement restaurant (is it open now?).
