Isn't it funny and totally human nature to comprehend that had that happened while you worked there it might have been you as a victim instead of the current occupant.  Sort of like seeing a terrible traffic accident happen right in front of you and knowing that if you had been a little further ahead of where you were it would have been you.  Would be helpful if we could bottle up that feeling so people would better understand and empathize with those impacted by these kind of events.....not to mention never forget them.  Sadly I think the reality of 9/11 lessens each year which is both good and bad.  Like the old line that a recession is when you neighbor loses his job.  A depression is when you lose yours.  And of course it was cleverly followed by a recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.  Hat tip to Reagan.
