Was out on Martin yesterday with seven others and while needing to be more alert than usual and practicing good boat etiquette, we were never in danger. Also been to the fireworks many times and the only real problem was a pop-up thunderstorm that had rain so hard my daughter thought she was being electrocuted. She and a couple others were in the front seats in our runabout but quickly decided the back seats were preferred when we went THROUGH a big wave instead of over it. I don't believe in being irresponsible but do believe in living the one life I have. I won't cower are home just because there are two other boats on the water. And by the way, my wife is an adult capable of making her own decisions. Sorry yours has to put up with your seemingly cowardly outlook on things.
