When you are constantly accused of something, you might as well be one. HEHEHE
Calling someone a racist is done to make someone feel guilty and implies that you are an awful person. The word has become meaningless. EEOC, a federal agency, says that telling someone to go back to where they came from, is inherently racist. It is when the person in question has done nothing to provoke someone saying that - like if you hear two people speaking Spanish in a store, and you approach them and say "Learn to speak English or go back to wear you came from".
But in this particular case, this Somali woman has repeatedly said complained about the United States. She wasn't born here, she is a naturalized citizen. I have always wondered by Minnesota has a huge Somali population - these are desert people and they move to the US and want to live where it is freezing cold a good portion of the year? It's because Minnesota has the most liberal public welfare rules in the country. In places where there is a huge Somali population, they have petitioned to follow the Muslim calendar followed for holidays instead of the US/Christian holidays that most of the country follows. They don't assimulate - they want to be seperate. They dont like it here, they want to change the country to suit them or at least the part that they occupy. They like our welfare system and would like to see it expanded so they could get more and here is their representative in the Congress wanting to change the fundamental beliefs of the country to suit them - and OBTW, this portion of the "African American" population. Most people who bill themselves African American, are not. They were born here, they have never been to Africa, have no desire to live there and now want to be more equal than the rest of us. Why do I say this? They don't want the police to bother them for what they have decided are "petty crimes" which are against the law. When they resist arrest, they want the police to treat them more gently than anyone else. And if they aren't treated that way, they want the police fired and to be "compensated" by the city. If they don't get what they want, they will riot and burn businesses and hurt people, because that is supposed to be okay because that is how they want to express their frustration. They demand that they be given priority for admittance to college, no one should come after them for student loans if they don't graduate.
Now John Doe is thinking "that woman is obviously a racist". But I am not. I have consistently reached out to qualified people of color and tried to help when I could - promotions, education, experiences, etc. I have one friend who was my mentor in college - he is a true African American - grew up in Nigeria and came to the U.S. to be educated - he has a PhD. Is an active member of his community in positive ways; a public speaker; a writer, a Christian. I've had many black bosses - yes, people of color who went to school, got their degrees, lived in a normal neighborhood, didn't riot, didn't get arrested, worried about their kids and getting them into a good school.
So when the word "racist" gets tossed around - and people condemn Trump and label him a "racist" - is he really? Or is he just speaking a truth? Central Americans brought their gangs with them when they came. They aren't educated and a large number will end up standing on the street, hoping to be hired for day labor, and then they will send their weekly earnings home to whatever countries they are from. Most won't go on a path to citizenship - because they don't want to.
