I am according to Copperline, who called me a racist in public on FB today.  He also said I was despicable because I continue to support our Presdient. 

I am someone who believes in diversity and in management roles, have sought to broaden the diversity of my offices, which I have been able to find well qualified candidates.  I have encouraged African Americans in their career goals, found a job from which to launch a career for one, sent another one across the road to register for school, I have promoted others.  Not becasue they were black, but because they were good and talented people, and well qualified.  I don't believe in EEO "goals" or quotas.  In my 32 year career, I have never had a grievance filed against me save for one, who didn't like his "satisfactory" rating.  He tried to say it was racial, but of course, it wasn't and the outcomes was that the claim was dismissed. 

I don't support Neo-Nazis, white supremists or the KKK, but I do believe in the First Amendment and I do believe in the public right to assembly (as permitted).  Just because the majority of people don't like their message of hate, doesn't mean they don't have a right to express it.  They are responsible for their actions and for their beliefs, just like anyone else.  I probably read or here at least one thing every day that rubs up against my beliefs or sensibilities, but I'm sure I say or write things than may rub others the wrong way.
