Lot,
-I was wondering what brought this Supreme Court travesty to your attention today. This particular ruling has not sat well with me since it was rendered. I rank it with the worst, if not THE worst (Scott?), the Court has ever made.
-This ruling has had its adverse impact in other little guy vs big guy cases, but,as far as I know, has always held.
-Here's the final nail, after chasing out all the home owners, the 2005 land rush went bust. The development never took place. You can drive by the area today (or at least last year) and the land is empty except for one small house. The home owners were forced out; the developers went bankrupt; the land is not being used; ---and, drum roll please, the city is not receiving any taxes from teh land!
