Since when can the Speaker of the House swear in a candidate who has not been certified by the appropriate state authorities. Does this mean that Pelosi could pick any Tom, Dick, or Harry from a district and swear them in as Congressional Reps.?

So what if the sworn in individual is decertified. The vote in Congress on a particular bill can not be changed.

Where are the standards for leadership in this country? It's almost as if the Democrats will sell their soul to the Devil to get a piece of legislation passed. How long can this go on?
