I am glad to see the responses to the hazzard markers. There is a suggestion that I have for ALL boaters on this lake, that is, if you have time this fall after the water is at low pool, take a ride in the area of the lake that you normally use. Like us, most people tend to stay in certain areas. Look for hazzards that are not normally visable and STAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHANNEL! I believe you will be shocked with the number of stumps and rocks that are potentially dangerous, especially when the water starts to receed. I believe it would be virtually impossible to mark them all and that the lake patrol has done a great job with the size of this lake. It will always be the boater's responsibility to use the "common sense factor" at all times. We truly hope that everyone had a great summer in God's country. Most of all, be careful. You have people that love you and would like to keep you around!
