I just finished smoking 10 butts that averaged 10 pounds each. My final yield after getting everything pulled and packed was 50 pounds. Is that close to what everyone else is seeing, or do I need to find a new source for my pork? I bought these on sale for $1.79 per pound, but if another source produced a larger return it would be worth a little more per pound. Just wondering.
