I feel your pain. Unfortunately, homeowners insurance is 3-4x normal premiums. Additionally you will have a higher deductible.....probably 5% on wind. Actually lucky to get a policy....I had to go with secondary market through independent agent. All the larger companies will not underwrite or take new customers. I would recommend flood as well.
