Archie, if you carefully research where the children of many past and current Dem Congressmen and Senators went to college, you will find that many of them attended what you would call "hoity toity" colleges such as Harvard, Yale, Brown and Stanford.    I bet that many qualified "commoners" were denied admission because of the money these admissions generated for the schools, not in tuition payments, but in government handouts.  If I attended "hoity toity" schools, it was only to level the playing field for admission, in order to compete against these "privileged" students, as none of my parents served in Congress.  Denigrate me as privileged, a bigot, racist and I will throw it right back at you 10 times over.   I say it again, you and Doe get the chips off your shoulders, admire what some individuals through hard work and discipline have been able to accomplish, and wallow in your TDS.  Almost sounds like you guys are jealous.
