I have one for home defense and sport shooting. Really bugs me when people decide to focus on the inanimate object rather than the root cause, which in this case appears to be mental illness.
Part of it is the strong desire to do something, anything. Of course this only applies to people of good will (which excludes most leftists who just want to disarm us so they can shove their Marxist ideology down our throats) who are rightly troubled by these events. Thirty or fifty years ago this guy would have been committed to a mental institution because he was a theat to himself and others. Because of left wing whining about rights this is no longer an option until they actually commit a crime.
Part of it is also due to an unwillingness to confront the moral degradation of our society and the cutlure of death and violence, whether it is in the movies, video games or whatnot. The cultural rot and the elimination of faith from the public arena has consequences and we are seeing them every day. But solving them is incredibly dificult and would require countercultural actions.....which given the leftist control of the education system every day it seems less and less likely to happen.
So out of frustration or ideological blindness or socialist wet dreams the call is always for banning an inanimate object that on its own just sits there. Ban AR-15's and you can be sure that when some nutjob like this kid buys one illegally there is going to be no one to stop hom when he starts shooting. The what will they say or who will they blame? Sure as heck never seems to be the perpetrator does it?
