I know our minds are wired differently. My engineer/scientist side has learned to coexist with my author-artist-musician mind. However... no amount of wordsmithing can convince me that roses bloom in the dead of winter... and geological, physical, and climatological processes are being morphed by the puny antics of mankind.
Yet... feel-good politics and social engineering seem to postulate just that. How can Architect... with all the surrounding evidence to the contrary... say with any sense of reason that the roses are getting larger? He quotes well crafted, canned, propaganda which flies in the face of the true condition.
Message for Archy:
"The Holocene (modern human) epoch is 4000 years old. That is .625 millionths of the age of the earth. Our species will be extraordinarily lucky if we don’t make ourselves extinct in the next 4000 years… certainly past the next ice age. Mother Nature will have all but eradicated evidence of us having been here within 4000 years after that. Our total dwell time on earth will be about 1.9 millionths of the age of the earth… after we have been erased. – OH HOW ARROGANT ARE WE AS A SPECIES!" [Mason, 03FEB13]
