You asked what was wrong with it - not if it has done some good.

Yes it helps people, but as a government program it is morally and financially bankrupt and can not last the way it is.  

My parents had BCBS before they were forced into medicare, not by choice - I can promise you costs to them went up, service went down, hassles went up.  Parents kept BCBS as a secondary to cover the costs that medicare did not, and had to present two insurance every where they went.  

Why would I need single payer if medicare should be the end all super dooper fix all of medicine for when I reach that age?  Why should it be rasied to 68?  Do you hate people 65-67?  Are they less deserving of super medical insurance that they have been promised all their working lives?  Does their property taxes need to be adjusted to reflect their income?  Do people who make under 50K a year deserve to not pay taxes on their McMansions that Clinton enabled them to get approved for loans on and have reposessed when they can not pay thus causing the economic downturn that you so hatefully place on Bush 41's doorstep?

You are a bigot and an ageist.  You need to quit hating on the poor and old people.  

Feel the Burn Sanders is still out trying to sell "Medicare for all" , sorry I like my insurance, my doctor and my plan which I can keep till I am forced into medicare but since by then it will be for those over 90 I may not have to worry about it.
