Well said, Mr. Hodja.
I am sure that I detested Barack Obama… mostly because he was obscure. I don’t think I hated him as much as I was apprehensive about what he was doing to my country. He said and promised things that did not pass the (my) smell test… he was obscure and seemed to do things which denigrated my country. Some of what he promised later proved to be patronizing (2nd definition) and deceptive. Where President Trump comes off as aggressive… Obama came off as narcissistic. In his political career, Obama accomplished nothing positive. He was scripted (by whom?)
BUT, Obama was my Commander in Chief. In my military career I have suffered under more than one insufferable commander… no choice but to preserver, and stay focused on my mission.
Never have I been I tempted to smash windows, verbally assault a liberal in a public place (or any place), hit someone in the head with a bicycle lock, light a dumpster on fire, put on a hat made to look like genitalia, or falsely accuse a liberal of sexual misconduct. None of those things would have budged Obama from behind the Resolute Desk. (I doubt that either GEN Casey or GEN Petreaus would have been amused.)
President Trump, on the other hand, has accomplished more for the benefit of America and her citizens, than the last three Presidents combined… in only two years.
President Trump is actually, not a politician… he does not play by political rules! I perceive him to be the elected CEO of the United States. He certainly behaves like a CEO. He is a master at negotiation… “The Art of the Deal.” He negotiates… exactly as he said he would… on behalf of the United States. He leverages strength and position. He holds the other side of the table accountable for their bargaining position… and makes it clear when they are losing. He stirs them to frenzy and takes advantage of their disarray. When the other side is uncompromising, he allows them to choke on their own “best and final offer.” When America leaves the bargaining table on a “no deal” decision… the wailing and gnashing of teeth is somewhat entertaining.
For example, the hysteria over leaving the Paris Accord… “…they have discovered that the one who was going to pay for the meal… has left the restaurant.” – Cavuto, 05 JUN 17
As I said before, I am not especially comfortable with his methods… but, WOW look how effective are they.
In two years, the MSM has not discovered that they need to come to the table with professional journalism… instead of juvenile invective. I am sure they would learn that he will respect them as adults. In the mean time… the MSM is being schooled.
