I totally agree with your summation. What we proclaim as our democratic form of government could not have been spoken more clearly than was done by President Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg Address when he memorialized those who died in battle and highlighted the redemptive power of thieir sacrifice. Lincoln placed the common soldier at the center of the struggle for equality and reminded his listners of the higher purpose for which blood was shed...."we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain--that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom--and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. In contrast to President Lincoln's renowned speech, "We, the people" are being guided by the hand of George Soros and others with their socialistic views. As of 0ctober 2017, Soros has given $18 billion to his Open Society Foundations. Democrats want "power", to "hell" with the 'will' of the American people. In conjunction with all the ongoing "resistence" by Democrats to President Trump's agenda of "Make America Great Again", can anyone list any accomplishments the Democrats have made during almost two years under President Trump's leadership? And for you Architect, being a pain in President Trump's a-- doesn't count. What have Democrats done to justify the office they hold? It's time for term limits so the American people can vote out those in office who fail to perform in line with their "campaign" promises. If their "pay" was based on performance they would need to send their pay checks back to the Treasury Department.
