A very "touching" post, especially for an "Old Grandad" like me. It's sad that we have a couple of contributors to the forum who seem to have no "sympathy" for the thousands of families who have lost "loved ones" at the hands of illegal immigrants, M-13/M-18 gang members, drug cartels, rapists, murderes, child abusers, etc. I don't understand why anyone "fails" to support whatever actions are necessary to prevent these heinous crimes. One of the "primary" actions required to limit such criminal activities is the securing of our Southern border, using whatever means that are deemed necessary. I can only hope and pray that none of the people who we have come to know in an unusual way as members of this forum ever experience an "atrocity" like we are seeing happen almost daily in our country today, and I also share the same feelings for those who we only come to know through reports from the daily news. I think as "human beings" we should all support our government in their effort to provide for our safety and security.
