I figured there must be a reason. Frankly, it doesn't bother me so much, but I hope any first-timers who were there weren't so turned off that they won't be willing to give you another try. Like I said, it's my favorite place to eat on the lake, and I want you to be here for a long time.

(And if you ever are in the mood for a menu suggestion, here's one: catfish. When I crave it, and I often do, I have to go somewhere else. I'd rather not go anywhere else!)

(Here's another: find something else to go on the plate with the Bang Bang Shrimp besides lettuce. A potato, some hush puppies, cole slaw... something so the plate doesn't look so empty, and the person who ordered it doesn't feel like they got an appetizer for an entree.)
