i would like to have the CoE provide some sort of forecast information so that in events such as this one and the one in '08, dock owners can have some warning when the CoE is going to drop the lake level, say more than 3 feet.  This would allow us to prepare and adjust our doks accordingly.  i realize they cannot do much on the up side and we have weather forecast etc. to help with that.  What i am talking about is the 6 to 8 feet drops in 24 hours with no notice.  in '08 the CoE did that and i ended up with 2 trees through the deck of my dock.
