It doesn't appear that Obama's time as a Community Organizer in Chicago did anything to improve conditions. It is sad when the nine year old son of a gang member is gunned down in revenge from a rival gang. An article that appears in the June 2008 issue of National Review provides a revealing analysis of Obama's early days as a Community Organizer. The article does an excellent job of explaining how his early eperiences played a key role leading up to his presidency.
