Actually, it's not a Hilary answer. Ambassadors and other Embassy personnel know the risks of working in a foreign country, especially in an unstable country like Libya. I'm wondering if you have read anything about Ambassador Stephens background? He had been around in the region for years and in a way that was his downfall, because he was optimistic about the future of Libya. It made him careless. It is a tragedy what happened to him, but I do not blame Hilary. Bad things happen in these countries. And I feel sure that Ambassador Stephens knew the risks when he took the post. I don't necessarily think his death is any worse than any soldier that dies on the battlefield. The whole darn world is a battlefield these day.
As far as the military, I have no ire for the military. But I think that it is unfair that an Administration commits U.S. forces to a war-like scenerio and then ties their hands with rules and political mechanics behind the scenes. And then cuts their benefits, and doesn't provide them with what was promised to them. So, If I want to get irate, I save it for the politicians who say that we can't afford the military.
I have no love of Hiliary, and she has done many things that I are wrong (the server thing for one), but I don't hold her personally responsible for Amb. Stephens death.
