Hound - Just to pry ( a little ) I assume you made such decisions based on your lifestyle, wants, dreams or decided that it was just not for you.

Not because you were concerned that they would die in a flood, get baked in the front yard playing when the ozone layer crapped out, melt due to acid rain( that is one I have not heard much about in some time), get sucked up into a cat 7 super hurricane with sharks in it that would flatten the world and the sharks would either eat you on impact or just kill the kid on impact if they hit sideways vs mouth first, or that you had a concern that based on whatever crisis that you would feel bad having to resort to eating the child?
