What apparently cratered the deal for now is the statement from the government that the plea deal does not immunize Hunter from FARA violations.  His lawyer said it did.  The government's lawyer said it didn't.  His lawyer then said the deal was off.  I cannot believe that the DA would have the gonads to immunize this dirt bag from every single crime he has committed with such a lenient plea deal.  But we are talking about the DOJ so who knows.  One thing for sure, he would be wise to take a limited plea deal even if it doesn't include FARA violations.  That anyone thinks he was not acting as a foreign agent agent without being properly registered and providing reports of his activities is mind boggling.  We know he did and we know why he never registered and definitely why he never reported it.

FARA is the one they really want off the table and we all know why. If he is indicted for FARA violations it will open up his entire sordid history of selling his father's influence for tens of millions of dollars to China, Russia, Ukraine, etc., etc.   They will get to the bottom of what he did, who paid what, what they got for their bribery money and who ultimately benefited.  All roads lead to Joe Biden who "Never discussed his son's foreign business dealings"....oops..er....um....."Was never in business with his son!".  Which will soon morph to "He never financially benefited from his son's business dealings" and then into "The millions he received from Burisma had nothing to do with his threat to withhold a billion dollars in funding until they fired the prosecutor looking into Burisma corruption!" eventually to,  "This is old news and what difference at this point does it make?"   And finally into "I have decided not to seek reelection so I can spend more time with my six grandchildren...cause I'm never going to cop to the last one and to get my viscious dogs away from secret service agents".  From there it will just be him yelling at kids to get off his lawn and nicely asking the most intelligent person he knows to stop leaving his crack pipe on the counter and porn on the computer.......unless its kiddie porn, in which case he can leave that as long as he gives Dad his password.
