The original draw down for this lake was planned at 50ft. It remained at 30ft until into the 60's. The large draw down was one of the reasons the entire lake bed was clear cut before filling the impound. APCO later tieid leaving standing timber in it's impounds with horrible results (Henry Neely). So the answer is yes, many have seen lower than 480, and I have a feeling that many more will this year.
