LOL, we had 03A3's for drill when I was in High School, but have never tried one, just got to try a Garand for the first time last Spring... First experience with M-16's was in the '70's, and found out that they have something in common with the Garand as far as "out of ammo". Can hear the clip come out of the Garand, and do NOT hear the M-16 (or AR pattern) recoil spring sound with it...
Been reloading shotshells since '78, and started with 45 ACP in '80, and have not looked back. I remember when Klinton was in office primers were not to be found either, and agree that is the thing that will be the limit. People that do not reload or shoot can't understand the thrill of rolling your own, finding a winner, and getting good results... When I got my first hit on steel from 500 M using a 7.62 black gun (not an AR though), offhand, with my own loads - smile...
