Interestingly, my wife was uncomfortable about the way they were talking about BLM around the young black woman. I told her that our kids and their friends don't see people based on the color of their skin....they just see people. It's those of us that grew up in the 60's and 70's that seem more fixated on race. They never saw or experienced Jim Crow laws and have grown up being friends with people of color. I really think this is the way most people are but they get drowned out by the race baiters.
Interesting observation about Andrew Yang. I just thought his views were not aligned with theirs so maybe it is a generational thing. It did bother me that when I asked what they liked about him all I got were vague responses about him having some good ideas. I really think they never really focused in on his actual views and were more impressed with his youth and style of presenting himself.
