Speaking of this thread, I go back to Buteye's original post, in particular the following quote:
"Comey's calling Trump a liar was based on the comments that the President made about his present view of the FBI. Comey said, " the Administration chose to defame me and, moree importantly, the FBI by saying that the organization was in disarray, that it was poorly led, that the workforce had lost confidence in its leader". "Those were lies, plain and simple, and I'm so sorry that the FBI workforce had to hear them, and I'm so sorry that the American people were told them". "
So tell me, what it is about the President's view is a lie? Before you answer conside that the President's view is his OPINION, and as such it can't be a lie. If he believes it he believes it. In particular, the comment "the organization was in disarray, that it was poorly led, that the workforce had lost confidence in its leader" is very subjective and under the first Amandment the President is certainly free to make those comments....and considering there is no empirical method to use that could prove them false, they are NOT lies.
Get a grip!
