Of course Goofy doesn't understand anything that has to do with business and the real world.  He doesn't understand that taxable income and accrual income are two entirely different things.  He doesn't understand that there are tax deductible expenses that reduce tax liability but do not impact accrual income statements.  He doesn't understand how assets are valued for tax, loan and net worth purposes.  He literally does not know anything about business other than what he read in Forbes by some journalist suffering from TDS.
