No, that wasn't my question or maybe I misunderstood your comment. I thought you were saying that a lot of people where you were from would leave someone stranded if they had the wrong bumper sticker on their card. So I asked you if you thought that was okay.
But, I know here around the lake and in Alex City and probably all over Alabama, people look out for other people and will always lend a hand if they can and I think that is wonderful. In fact, one of the things that has impressed me since moving here, how people will always step up to help someone if they can and will work tirelessly in the case of an emergency (like the big tornado). I saw people in Walmart buying tons of kids clothes so they could donate to those in need. I have never lived in a place like that, until now. In fact, a friend of mine from NJ, told me some people from Alabama came up there after Hurricane Sandy, wanting to help out and cook for whomever needed help. Unfortunately, there was no one for local action for them to join and they left. She had never seen anything like that, and I was pleased to be able to tell her that it was common reaction here in Alabama.
