Do the Google search and read for yourself. Where that particular article did include the rest off the world most of the other concentrate on Europe. But you are right about one thing, I have the dimmest porch lights around because I use blue bulbs on my porches and even put two sets of floods on the pier/boat ramp. One side has blue floods and the other side has regular floods. I did that so I could leave them on while I go on night cruises and not disturb the neighbors with light pollution. One place I will never put them is on the underside of the pontoon.
