Just another example of Trump's personality, he doesn't have to be intellectually consistent because all he focuses on is "winning"... he doesn't mind contradicting himself and doesn't even seem to notice when he does.   The fact that the polls show him to be strong is a really interesting, but really disturbing, trend in this country.    Makes me wonder where we are headed as a nation.  

On the other hand, Trump may be a last gasp reaction of a white middle & lower class who are about to be pushed into minority status by future demographics.  The conservatives in those economic classes are panicking and looking for a bombastic leader.   Maybe that explains his rise.

I just don't know.   And right now, I can laugh about him because I don't think there is any way he will be nominated by the Republicans... but fact is, he is only a showman who has no idea how to conduct a Presidency.
