We were at a single boat beach today. We had children swimming everywhere, cooking hotdogs, and just having some great "family time".

then out of nowhere comes this pontoon boat with an extremely angry man onboard. Who begins to tell us we do not own the beach and he has been on the lake for 20 something years. Oh. By the way he is applying his decals as he is telling us this....what? That to us meant he just got on the lake today!!! So....where is the beach etiquette? The respect for people's privacy?

The beach with one boat has 10 feet on each side. This to us is a single boat beach. We would never infringe on a family having fun together.

Are we wrong? Has this happened to anyone else? Please help us understand. We have lived on the lake for 24 years. 15 years as permanent residents.
