Figure this one out, I just called AL Power inquiring about a shoreline permit requirement to pick up my fallen RIP RAP and place back up on my RIP RAP seawall.

First I said, I was going to use a Bob Cat and they said it required a permit, as you would have equipment within the 490' mark. OK II thought that is fine, I understand the logic here.

Then I said OK, guess I will just hire some strong backs and manually place the rocks back on my sea wall as this will be cheaper in the long run.

GUESS WHAT - They stated this also requires a permit, but finally after I questioned them further they said after a slight pause on the line and great hesitation in their voice, that I could do this manually without a permit.
